Upgrading from Purple+ to Purple MAX

Many customers start with Purple+ and later realise that live TV or a landline would make life easier — perhaps parents have moved in, or the family wants live sports on channels. Upgrading to Purple MAX is straightforward and does not require a new connection.

What you gain

• Six more OTT apps: ZEE5, Sun NXT, ShemarooMe, Hungama Play, aha and Epic ON
• 350+ live TV channels through IPTV or DTH
• Unlimited landline calls within India
• Speed options up to 500 Mbps

How the upgrade works

1. Request the upgrade through our team or your account.
2. We calculate the remaining value of your current Purple+ plan and adjust it against the MAX plan you choose.
3. An engineer visits to install the IPTV set-top box and activate the landline.
4. The additional OTT apps are activated on your registered mobile number.

What stays the same

Your fiber line, router and Wi-Fi settings continue. If you choose a higher speed, it is applied remotely. Your existing OTT app subscriptions continue without interruption.

Choosing your MAX speed

MAX starts at 100 Mbps. If you are currently on 50 Mbps Purple+, the upgrade also gives you a noticeable speed boost. Large or very connected households may prefer 200 or 300 Mbps.

Preparing for the visit

Decide where the TV set-top box will sit and whether you can run a cable from the router to it. Choose a spot for the landline phone, ideally near a power socket if you use a cordless handset.

Can I go back later?

Yes. If your needs change, you can move back to Purple+ at renewal.
